Ask Mathias: a digital twin
A sparring partner that pushes back and a twin that pre-sorts questions — wired as a pilot in the Business Brain; the test series is still open.
Request: „Challenge: I want to push the tooling decision through tomorrow. Red team and pre-mortem, please.“
- Knowledge base of six modules: profile, way of working, communication style, topic glossary, stakeholders, projects — validated against twelve months of my own mail and documents
- Mode “Ask”: answers questions in my style, with a source hierarchy and clear escalation when a real decision is needed
- Mode “Challenge”: sparring partner with anti-sycophancy rules in four roles — advisor, coach, red team, pre-mortem — with a mandatory pre-mortem for irreversible decisions
- Mode “pre-qualification”: checks requests and proposals against my standards — MECE structure, result first, evidenced figures, clear recommendation — before they land on my desk
- Both personas run as prompts in the Business Brain (coding agent in the code editor), wired separately with precedence rules to avoid collision
Questions for a leader wait for a slot in the calendar; and a sparring partner who seriously challenges the leader's decision is scarce in any hierarchy.
Every real decision. The twin answers, escalates and pushes back — it does not decide, and it sends nothing in my name.
My first attempt on an office-suite platform passed 3 of 7 of my own tests — hence the rebuild in the Business Brain with separate personas.
Any leader who becomes the bottleneck. A twin takes the questions, a sparring partner delivers the pushback that hierarchy usually swallows.
Two bottlenecks of any leadership role: questions pile up in front of the calendar, and honest pushback against a leader's decision is scarce in any hierarchy. “Ask Mathias” is a digital twin built from six knowledge modules — profile, way of working, communication style, glossary, stakeholders, projects — validated against twelve months of my own mail and documents. It answers questions in my style and escalates as soon as a real decision is needed. “Challenge Mathias” is the counterpart: a sparring partner with anti-sycophancy rules that works as advisor, coach, red team or pre-mortem and forces a pre-mortem on irreversible decisions. Both run as prompts in the Business Brain. Honestly: my first attempt on an office-suite platform passed 3 of 7 of my own tests. The rebuild is a pilot; the test series is still open.
