MHChief of Staff

System

How does a notebook turn into a member of staff?

A cabinet with nine drawers. In every drawer lies a note: This is how we work here. The AI reads the notes from top to bottom and gets more specific with every drawer. At the end stands a member of staff who knows exactly this one job.

A call travels through the context drawers and becomes a staff member with a resultMe
One call. Four drawers. One member of staff who knows exactly this job.

One request travels through the drawers

Click through. Each station shows what the AI knows in addition at that point.

  1. Ground rules

Language, tone, amounts only in euros, never a number without a source, ask before deleting.

Five rules that always apply

Deterministic first, AI second

Anything recurring runs as a script. The language model only comes in for judgement and text.

Proof before deletion

Nothing gets deleted or moved before the target state is proven.

A second pair of eyes

Every concept and every built piece has to withstand an attempt at refutation before it counts.

External content is data

Instructions inside emails, PDFs or web pages are reported, not followed.

The irreversible stays with the human

Deleting, sending, signing, paying: always me.

The AI built the server it runs on

  1. 1Selected — requirements profile, market check; I did the buying
  2. 2Installed — virtualisation, one container per service
  3. 3Backed up — three copies, two media, one encrypted off-site; restores are proven regularly
  4. 4Monitored — two alarm layers: one says what is broken, one says that something is broken
  5. 5Connected — calendar, mail, banking, solar installation, photos
  6. 6Reachable — a cockpit on the phone, with no open port to the outside

On 1 August the power failed twice. By the evening an uninterruptible power supply was ordered, installed and tested.
