Guided setup: four fifths was waiting
A working workspace; the target is setup in under an hour — the pilot took almost seven, around four fifths of it waiting for individual approvals.
Figure: knapp 7 Stunden Dauer einer Pilot-Einrichtung; rund vier Fünftel davon Warten auf Einzelfreigaben, eigentliche Arbeit etwa anderthalb Stunden · measured 8 October 2026
Request: „Start the setup.“
- An onboarding agent guides through setup, verification and the first safe piece of work
- Checked are tools, login, package sources, identity, personal branch, browser access and two read samples — no silent repairs
- A desktop app checks the prerequisites and installs what is missing
- Anyone who wants to pass on their setup bundles a depersonalised starter kit
Setup by written guide — in any organisation success depends on the diligence of the individual, and the hurdle for AI in daily work is day one.
Approvals and logins.
Almost every step, even read-only ones, was approved individually and the agent waited for hours — fix: read steps without asking, write steps bundled.
Any organisation that wants to roll out AI workplaces at scale. Measure first where the time goes — then the rule is obvious.
The hurdle for AI in daily work is the setup. An onboarding agent checks the workplace step by step — tools, login, package sources, personal branch, two read samples — and repairs nothing silently. The honest measurement of a pilot case from around 300 tool calls: almost seven hours, around four fifths of it waiting for individual approvals; the actual work took about an hour and a half. That produced a clear rule: read without asking, approve writes in bundles. Anyone who wants to pass on their setup bundles a depersonalised starter kit. The target is setup in under an hour.
