Out of the cloud, with proof
Roughly 1.76 TB retrieved with checksum proof across 311,462 files; full restore of one backup track 1,623 of 1,623 files byte-identical.
Figure: rund 1,76 TB aus der Cloud geholt (300.238 Dateien), Vollständigkeits-Gate über 311.462 Dateien · measured 7 October 2026
Request: „Get my data out of the cloud — with proof.“
- Exit check for every service: is there an export? an open interface? has the export ever actually run?
- Measure the cloud holdings and pull them onto my own server; a completeness gate checks every file by checksum.
- Make services without a way out visible — 72 data holdings, 3 of them without an export.
- Prove the restore from the off-site backup before deleting the source.
Roughly 1.76 terabytes in 300,238 files at one cloud provider, plus dozens of services with no known way out.
Every cancellation and every deletion of the source.
No account without a way out: “there is an export” is a claim until it has actually run once — true for every SaaS contract.
Roughly 1.76 terabytes in 300,238 files sat with one cloud provider. The AI pulled them onto my own server, and a completeness gate checked every single file by checksum — 311,462 files, no assumptions. Beforehand the same exit check ran for every service: is there an export, an interface, and has the export ever actually run? Of 72 data holdings, three have no way out — now I know which. A source is deleted only once the restore from the off-site backup is proven: 1,623 of 1,623 files byte-identical.
