Request: „Feed in the waste-collection calendar.“
- Reverse-engineer the municipal app's interface and fetch the dates.
- Write the dates into a shared family calendar — repeatable without duplicates.
- A plausibility gate refuses any run that would delete or change too many entries.
The municipal app only reminds whoever installed it — and the bin stood outside on the wrong day too often.
Putting the bin out.
On the first run the gate caught a bug of its own that would have deleted 25 entries.
A gate that catches its own bug before it does damage is worth more than the automation itself.
The municipality distributes collection dates via an app that only reminds whoever installed it. The AI reverse-engineered the app's interface and writes the dates into the shared family calendar — 56 dates up to year-end, repeatable without duplicates. A plausibility gate refuses any run that would delete too much. On the first run that gate caught a bug of its own that would have removed 25 entries. Small benefit, big lesson.
