Two months to a team project
Two months from private experiment to kick-off; after the first few months there is a Business Brain, first use cases and change support.

Request: „Show me what AI can really do today — not in slides, on my own tasks.“
- The spark: my brother shows me agentic AI on real tasks
- A week later my own private brain is running; it has grown with every task since
- A few days after that, the idea: apply the same principle to steering my unit — conversations with potential partners
- A chance find of an article leads to the right collaborator — I write to the author immediately
- About two months after the spark: kick-off; the unit's Business Brain has been running ever since
I knew AI from strategy papers and pilot teams; I had not yet had it in my own hands.
The decision to do it — and the willingness, as a leader, to go first before asking the team to.
Any leader who has to make AI decisions for an organisation. Whoever wants to steer AI has to use it.
My brother showed me what agentic AI does on real tasks. A week later my own brain was running: private, on a home server, growing with every task. A few days after that the idea was there: the same principle for steering my unit of around 300 people. Then came conversations with potential partners, a chance find of an article whose author I wrote to immediately, and about two months after the spark, the kick-off of the agentic PMO. Two months from me to us. Today the Business Brain has two levels: my personal one with around 200 knowledge notes and the team brain with almost 1,000; around ten workspaces share the same foundation. Three lessons stayed: context decides, and context can be built. What convinced was using it, not a slide. Shared knowledge grows.
