Paintings that move
Three finished 4K loops hang on the device, seam verified bit-exactly.
Figure: 3 bewegte 4K-Schleifen am Gerät, Loop-Schluss bitgenau (Bild 120 = Bild 0) · measured 2 October 2026
Request: „Turn the painting into a moving loop for the Frame.“
- Generate a short motion from the still with video AI: water, clouds, light.
- Cut into a seamless loop and render at 4K.
- Verify the seam bit-exactly: frame 120 must equal frame 0, otherwise it stutters.
- Upload to the device, where it rotates alongside the stills.
Still images on the TV — beautiful, but still.
Which picture is allowed to move — and how much.
A prototype becomes operations when the acceptance test is mechanical — here a pixel comparison instead of “looks fine”.
After the stills came the question: can the paintings move? The AI generates a short motion from a work — water, clouds, light — cuts it into a loop and renders it at 4K. The acceptance test is a pixel comparison: frame 120 must equal frame 0. Since October three finished loops hang on the device. What was a “next step” on a slide until September has been in operation ever since.
